BSAS was founded with the idea of providing a niche service for those clients who need a bit more than a standard solution and personalised service. Bookkeeping/Accounting (with SARS compliance)

• Capturing of accounting information in the ledgers and producing monthly management accounts, salary, creditors and debtors reconciliations 

• Capturing of accounting information on an annual basis to Financial statement drafting, including asset register maintenance and depreciation schedules

• Trust accounting with share portfolios and investments, including fair value adjustments

• Preparing VAT reconciliations, completion & submission of VAT returns to SARS 


Payroll (with SARS and Labour department compliance)

• Processing salaries on a monthly basis and providing staff payslips together with all relevant staff reports

• Submission of monthly EMP201 (PAYE, UIF and SDL) returns to SARS

• Preparation and submission of bi-annual IRP501 reconciliations to SARS including issuing of IRP5 certificates to staff members

• Submission of monthly UIF  and annual Workman’s Compensation returns

• Registration and termination of staff with the UIF Department  


SARS compliance

• Submission of annual Income tax returns for Individuals, Companies and Trusts

• Submitting provisional tax (IRP6) returns 

• Obtaining tax clearance certificates

• Advising SARS of any relevant changes to taxpayer details and registration of on-line representatives on Efiling

• Reconciliation of accounts and re-allocation of misallocated payments on all tax types (VAT; PAYE; UIF and SDL) 

• Any SARS troubleshooting


Company Secretarial Services

• Registration of Companies at the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC)

• Affecting changes to entities by drafting and lodging the relevant documents at CIPC

• Affecting changes to shareholding of companies

• Maintaining company share registers 

• Lodging of annual CIPC returns

• Registration and deregistration for Income Tax; VAT; PAYE; UIF; Workman's Compensation and Import/Export Licenses
